A DISTRIBUTION EXPERIMENT

Everyone has a short film. No one watches them. Longshot Cinema started in Brooklyn as a simple attempt to fix that problem.

They play a festival or two. Get uploaded to Vimeo. Maybe get posted on Instagram. Then disappear.

Longshot exists to give them another shot. We find films we love, put them in a room full of people, and keep the conversation going.

Each collection is a Drop. This online home is the next chapter: a place to discover the films, meet the filmmakers through interviews, and keep them moving.

We’re not a film festival. Just films we think people should see.
